Alja-Safe™ Skin Safe Crystalline-Silica Free Alginate is an easy to use and very safe life casting and mold making material.  Alja-Safe™ alginate does not contain free crystalline silica, (a known carcinogen) and also captures and preproduces detail better than other alginates.  

Alja-Safe™ gives the most accurate reproduction of your original piece, and makes an excellent temporary mold - good for one or two reproductions - of any body part.

Body Double® is a long lasting skin safe life casting silicone rubber that can be applied directly to the skin to make molds of the face, hands and other body parts.  The silicone rubber cures quickly and will reproduce perfect detail from any original model - far better detail than alginate.

Use it for one casting or many for just about the same price as alginate.  Unlike alginates, which are good for one only casting, Body Double® will last for indefinite castings of almost any material including plaster, wax, resins, low-temperature melt metal alloys, etc.  The amount of Body Double® used per mold is less than most alginates, so the cost per mold is about the same.

Body Double® Release Cream is a non-toxic skin conditioner that will aid in releasing Body Double® mold rubber from skin surfaces with or without hair.  It is highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way.

Body hair not thoroughly coated with a release cream will become encapsulated and stuck in silicone rubbers during the cure phase.  When that happens it can be difficult & painful to separate hair from the silicone.  Release Cream can also be used in conjunction with other release additives such as Smooth-On HYPER-FOLIC®.
