TraumaSkin FX™ Acrylic Vinyl Liquid Medium TraumaSkin FX™ is an amazing multi-use medium that can be used directly on the skin, just like latex, for a variety of special makeup effects uses.  It's also fantastic to use for making small flat mold appliances.

This is a water based medium, and it's completely non-toxic, so it is a safe alternative to using liquid or molded latex pieces on skin.  The results are far more translucent and skin-like in look and texture than you can ever get with latex.  Once applied to skin it becomes a very firm long-wearing film when dry.

Rigid Collodion "Scarring Liquid" is a clear solution used in special effects makeup work to create the effects of cuts, scarred, burnt skin, and other types of casualty simulation injuries.  When painted directly on skin it slightly wrinkles and shrinks on skin as it dries, making a “puckered” indentation. 

You can create larger or deeper cuts or scarring effects by repeating the application in numerous layers.  The more layers you add the more it deepens the effect.
