Lip liners actually help lipstick color stay in place and last longer on the lips. Using this smooth blending pencil will enhance or accentuate the shape and contour of lips, and bring out their fullness. 

Lip pencil is a must have tool to help keep lipstick in place, and it is the first line of defense to stop lipstick color from feathering or bleeding.  Lip pencils have a high wax content which allows you to achieve true precision color that glides on effortlessly in a smear proof application 

These lip pencils can be used with any lip product to help provide a naturally flattering way to define lip. Use before or after applying lip color, as it is the ideal partner to either a full coverage lipstick or under a shiny gloss.   For the most natural looking application, make sure the tip is softly rounded and keep your strokes soft with no sharp edges. Fill in lips with lip pencil then apply lip color for a long lasting wear.

PRO TIP: Apply liner after you have applied lipstick color, not before. First, apply the lipstick just up to or near the lip line.  Then apply the lip liner, which will glide on smoothly, leaving a more natural outline, and still prevent the color from bleeding.  Next, use the pencil to "move" the lipstick color next to the newly drawn lip line.

You can also fill in lips entirely with the lip liners, and top them off with the perfect gloss, such as Natural Born Cosmetics® Classic Lip Gloss, PPS-0285, or Graftobian's Hi-Def Lip Gloss palette, PPS-0159.  For a low level shine and protection, try layering Ultrasilk Premium Lip Balm, PPS-0252 over a pencil for a fabulously natural lip look favored by many film and TV artists.  Mehron Glosstones, PPS-0255, are great for adding just a hint of a wash of glossy shine.

These wooden pencils can be sharpened with one of our many standard size makeup pencil sharpeners, such as the Japonesque Dual Pencil Sharpener, PPS-0136, or the round metal makeup pencil sharpener, PPS-0268.   PRO TIP:  Place pencils in the freezer for about 15 minutes. This will help reduce breakage of the tip when sharpening.
