DermaBurn is totally safe to use on the face and body for great looking effects.  It is a clear see-through material, so it takes on the color of the skin underneath it.  Use it to create all kinds of 3 dimensional skin traumas, such as second and third degree burns, skin sloughing or peeling or whatever your imagination can dream up!  It's excellent to use to portray contact or radiation burns.

It’s easy to apply, just cut a desired length from the package, lay it on skin and spritz with a little bit of water.  Once it starts to shrink or melt a bit you can shape and mold it on skin as it dries. You can even double layer at once it for more depth and dimension, or apply it over finished layers to build a different look. Then finish it out with some cosmetic dirt or blood effects for a super realistic looking injury. 

It's a great, out-of-kit effect that is fast and easy to apply but with hyper-realistic results. You can also use it as a finishing material over other casualty simulation materials such as latex, wax, silicone, and TraumaSkin FX™ Acrylic Vinyl Medium, MM-1284,  or on any ready-made Acrylic Vinyl, latex, or silicone appliance we sell.

Tip:  Sprinkle some Graftobian Blood FX Powder, MM-1289, on it before wetting for a really great bleeding flesh effect, and top with some Graftobian Black Soot, MM-1029, or TraumaSkin FX™ Battlefield Mud, MM-1343.  Can also be dressed out with paste or gel type theatrical bloods once it is set.

Note: This is a onetime use product only and is sensitive to moisture. It can be sprayed very lightly with a sealing spray to make it a little more durable in wear. Always store unused product in plastic bag and keep away from moisture. As this is a plastic type of material, do not use near eyes. Do not cover the nostrils or ingest in mouth.  Keep away from children and animals.
